Hello, I'm a graduate from the  Artist Designer: Maker course at CSAD

I specialize in making furniture, working mainly in wood (mainly oak) and rattan caning. The sustainability of the materials I use and the wider environmental impact they will have, both before making and at the end of the objects life, are very important to me which is why I use reclaimed wood for the frame of my furniture combined with panels of fast growing rattan. Caning, the process of weaving the rattan strips into a sheet material, is also on the Heritage Crafts Association Red List of Endangered crafts so I hope to keep the process alive in my work.
